Maddie Sauget, LCSW (of Snow Moon Therapy Services) and I are thrilled to announce two upcoming trainings for clinicians! These trainings are designed to give both a knowledge-based and experiential introduction to the field of equine-assisted psychotherapy. No horse experience is necessary!
Even if you never plan to work with horses, you will come out of these trainings with a greater understanding of healing through relationship, coregulation, attunement, and connection through the lens of equine-assisted interventions.
We are requiring that folks take the online introduction as a prerequisite to the experiential workshop.

An Introduction to Trauma-Focused Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Join us for a live online training to learn more about equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) through a trauma-focused lens. You will learn more about what EAP is, and why it can be so effective, especially for those who have experienced trauma. Capped at 10 participants.

An Experiential Introduction to Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Friday, June 6, 2025, from 9:00am - 12:00pm (3 Contact Hours)

Come experience the healing power of the mindfully attuned presence of our equine friends. You will gain a greater understanding of healing through relationship, co-regulation, attunement, and connection to yourself and those around you. Capped at 6 participants.
Prerequisite: An Introduction to Trauma-Focused Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy
